On the Radio This Morning

I'll be interviewed on two local radio stations this morning.  I'll be discussing the proposed ordinance I will be bringing on May 2nd.  Folks that are interested in it should check the podcasts later this morning.

I'll be on the radio later this morning, on multiple stations.

I'm slated to talk with Andrew McKay at Pensacola Morning News at 6:35.

Then, I'll be on the top-rated area morning show, Good Morning Pensacola,  at 6:50 with Don Parker.

I'm looking forward to discussing my proposed ordinance that is badly needed in Escambia County.(the one that will provide a mechanism for a local board to sanction an individual board member that acts outside his authority as an individual board member)

I'm also going to be discussing the eerie similarities between some shenanigans that are allegedly happening now in the county right now and the striking resemblance these issues have to the days of Grady Albritton.

Once posted online, I'll link the recordings  here (WCOA) and here (WNRP)

  1. Thank you for looking for solutions. Perhaps anonymous comments (or not each should be able to chose) could be collected by Northescambia like Steven did for his Cantonment CSX train issue then submitted for the meeting. Or the county could take anonymous comments internally. Some conservatives realize every single thing does not do well being in the sunshine. Some things take times and sensitivity for privacy.

Some people feel more free commenting anonymously especially with the social media gag order on employees imposed by the county. Of course William would have to be discrete with his IP info he can collect. Obviously a couple of the commissioners ignore the social media policy which has been abused by the one.

I notice a comment on the Northescambia PIO article released 4/23 with some one proposing solutions for fire and EMS. God speed in working all this out and moving forward. There are most likely a lot of moving parts and agenda here. One thing to note is the interim administrators have given quite a bit of notice, don't let that time run out. Apparently they were looking for an exit strategy for some time.

It's really a shame the poor reporting from PNJ and problems with the drama lama social media clown. Looks like one of your commissioners is trying to cover his own actions. Thank you for the radio interviews. Just because a lot of people aren't commenting, know it is appreciated. This looks pretty dirty and some may not want to add to the rumor mills. I think putting out info by a PIO is appropriate. Discretion is appropriate at times and being sensitive to that is a sign of maturity and leadership. Blasting out comments and opinions is easy. The loudest voice is the room is usually not the best one to listen to. Bombastic rhetoric is a cover up.

Thank you for looking for solutions.

  2. Good radio interviews. Hope this ordinance passes and you find out who leaked the document. The lies surrounding this is so troubling. The berating of a person should not be tolerated. Don't stop! Get to the bottom of this.

  3. From Rick's Blog "If Lovoy and Coughlin blame Underhill for their resignations, then they should give us specific accounts of his actions. The same for county staff whom Bergosh says have been ordered around by Underhill -they, too, must come forward and go on the record.

If no one comes forward with details, then the non-interference ordinance will be useless. You can’t fine or remove someone from office based on innuendo. "

  4. Gosh if we were jerks like Underhill we could be neener neerer about the ST contract influx and the citizens against corporate welfare referendum fail..Do you think maybe some one actually grew up a little bit from this? I doubt it. His GOB delusions are insanity and leopards don't change their spots. You all have a lot of work to accomplish. Stay the course, even if Marlette missed the mark again.

    To infinity and Beyond

  5. So Underhill for the record says all the resignations are because he is fighting the good ole boys basically.
    Six OK clock news
I find that to sound insane.
