I received a copy of the County's updated final disposition letter in the Matt Selover harassment complaint against Dr. Rayme Edler issue from May 1st of this year. The initial investigation led to a report which urged Selover be returned to duty as soon as possible. This earlier report also described other troubling issues with the way Mr. Selover was treated.
This latest final letter reverses much of the opinion of the first report from 6-24.
This report, below, is the county's final word on that complaint. It will lead to many more questions from me and others--particularly as it pertains to the timeline of the events from 4-23-2019 through 5-13-2019. Specifically and importantly I'll be asking for all the information about both complaints that were filed--because I do not believe the timeframe presented below and that events unfolded the way they are described in this final letter. More on that in follow-on posts......
Jeff Bergosh you are probably the only one that will deal with this issue. Kudos for you
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a CYA letter to me. CYA, of course, stands for “Correspondence (to) Your Attention
ReplyDeleteLeaders who don't listen will eventually be surrounded by people who have nothing to say
ReplyDeleteFrom the PNJ article from April 16: What happened with the EMS IV certs questions turned over to DOH. Was that unfounded to use the medical director's name? That's a starting point.
ReplyDeleteThis can be summed up to: The original investigation did not achieve the results someone didn’t like. Because the HR Director is new she was given direction to make it right. That’s easy, blame the previous administration. But wait, Spainhower is still here. So we’ve got to say he did what he could without needed support. What a bunch if malarkey, look at his report. It obviously came from someone who is experienced and thorough.
ReplyDeleteEmployees should have a true sense of fear. HR is showing that they will get whatever results they want, even if the facts don’t support it. Old school find the evidence to support the outcome you want.
We need to see the DOH report plus the state reports and not pressure the new HR to smooth things over.
ReplyDeleteStay on top of it, Commissioner. This whole thing stinks to high heaven...

Those commissioners should be turning that building and the people inside there upside down and checking it thoroughly!!! If they were smart. This last year has proven things aren’t always what they seem. They need to stop their own insulation! Thus far they haven’t! Bergosh is trying now!!!
