I'll be on 1370 WCOA's "Real News with Rick Outzen" This Morning at 7:35

I've been invited to appear on the area's best, highest rated,  most reliable, dependable and informative morning news show in the area, "Real News with Rick Outzen" later this morning at 7:35.

I've been asked to appear in order to discuss the current county budget and also the county's funding of outside agencies that appear to be more in the wheelhouse of the newly established Escambia Children's Trust.

Should be an interesting conversation.

Once it is published, I will link the podcast here.

  1. Wasted 9 mins of my life that I can’t get back listening to that podcast. You said public safety is a priority? We are woefully understaffed and under equipped for a county our size. Response times are horrific. You still fail to address the lack of economic development accountability in our community. In the meantime you and Outzen spend time in mutual gratification

  2. Good job on the sheriff budget, so much smoother than 2017. You are right about people complaining about the children trust when the electorate is the ones who put in place. I didn't vote for it but others did.

It is appalling how people spread ignorance and underhillian talking points. LIKE 637 ABOVE.
He has still put out another video, trying to stir up conflict about the rate of the retirement contributions that anyone with a brain can search and see it is set at the state. Do nothing Mike is the only comment on the you tube. Looks like the sour grape losers' corner. Like Hillary's.. What happened videos awhile back. Pffft.

He IS a convincing liar as again people think he is a hero. Gullible they are.

I know you are just moving along, doing the work but someone has to counter act his propaganda. I could do it directly but it is a waste of effort plus they are vindictive.

Watching the DOAH FCE page for the final order. https://www.doah.state.fl.us/ALJ/_

    1. The 401a rate is NOT set by the state. The rate is set by the BOCC.

  3. 11:53 Thank you and I agree on your assessment about #2. He's watching that site, but what he probably knows is a lot of others are watching that site as well. Lots of folks getting cramps in their index finger refreshing that page looking for the final order LOL. Lots. And it is coming, any day now. Other things are happening, too. That will be good as well. Boomerangs are coming back fast :) Now, 6:37, of course you'll say the sky is falling. "Things are NOT PERFECT!!!" you'll exclaim loudly in post after post and comment on that facebook site with your 12 buddies. Nope, nothing we do, no raise we give, no deal we sign with an employer to bring jobs here, nope, nothing will ever be good enough for the likes of you. Fortunately, you are the extreme, and I do mean extreme minority of folks---spending your day with white gloves on looking for a blemish anywhere then magnifying and riffing on it like a woodpecker. You are like a hammer, and to you everything naturally looks like a nail. That's why you are irrelevant, you and that other bunch of malcontents that never see good, only see bad. I'll make a prediction: You're probably not a real happy individual; nope, you're the type that walks around miserable lloking for a fight. Life's too short to live that way. Go back and listen to that podcast again, it is all true and good stuff, and try to have a good day :)

  4. The elected class retirement rate IS set at the state and the 401a IS a legal annuity. 🙄 With the same rate. Blah Blah Blah.

    1. Guess the judge will decide that.

    2. Nope! The BOCC can and should set those rates

  5. I'm trying to connect how putting a for-sale sign out in front of OLF8 is pursuing good-paying jobs. Is the county hoping an executive from a major company just happens to drive by and sees the land up for sale?

  6. Well if x goes into frs, the x could go in annuity. BFD.

  9. Does the BCC impose the fine? $5K

A drop in the bucket for what he has cost us in legal fees.

  10. Hope you get a buyer for a commerce park on OLF8.

  11. I was disappointed the DOAH judge didn't recommend removal, but on second glance, I understand blind justice and burden of proof. I also understand that was a recommendation back to the committee and apparently is out of the authority of the BCC.

Hope Brown gets elected and Bender stays and you can get back to work post Covid and especially past the Underhill years.
