Late last week COX Communications sent the below letter to the county. Late this afternoon, as the solicitation is now closed, staff has forwarded this letter and information to the commissioners.
After filing a bid protest over the county's selection of EREC last month for the county's broadband project, and after the county decided to re-solicit the project and put it out for bid a second time--COX has now officially bowed-out and will not be bidding on this project.
They (COX) gave their reasoning in their letter to the purchasing director --- which I am posting below.
What a waste of our time Cox.
ReplyDeleteOn another note note sly Jim Little uses a pic of you opposite Loni, when you aren't even taking the 401a. He could have used a pic of the ones taking it. Just seems like a little prick toward you because you call out PNJ.
6:02--very perceptive that you noticed that picture slipped in. It isn't by accident but it probably wasn't Jim that did it. It is just another example, albeit passive aggressively--almost subliminally--of PNJ deliberately painting me in a false light with actual malice. I've got a raft of examples of them doing this to me. Like a boomerang it will come back to them when the time is right.....Meanwhile-- You are right I call them out, because they need to be called out. They are really sore because the county FINALLY took them off of the $60K a year gravy train of easy ad revenue for posting legal notices with them. We pulled that and gave it to the Escambia Sun Press and saved taxpayer dollars--and I am certain they are infuriated by this. Oh, and I called out their "N-Word" using, racist cartoonist as well. I think some folks heard about it and he is gone now. Good riddance even with your stupid, non-humorous "Pimp & Twits" syndicated cartoon. See ya Andy, wouldn't want to be ya! You're gone, and I'm still here LOL
ReplyDeleteYou could very well be the most insecure person on the planet. Have never seen anyone in a public role have such thin skin. I’m embarrassed for you
DeleteThank you. 😊
ReplyDelete3:22--I'm confident and I have Aligator-thick skin--which are two things required for this job in meeting with thousands face to face, working with neighborhoods and communities, and also dealing with and defending myself from folks like you--anonymous ad hominem attackers. No, the thin skinned and the insecure are folks like you that hide out online and on facebook hate furnaces of frustration banging away like woodpeckers whilst those of us that are true leaders get things done. The only person you should be embarrassed for is looking back at you in the mirror. Now, run along back to your online echo chamber :)
