A Great Conversation with Escambia Supervisor of Elections Robert Bender

This morning on the Wake Up Call with Jeff Bergosh we had the opportunity to interview Escambia's Supervisor of Elections Robert Bender.  We discussed the last election cycle, and he let us know that the audit on this last election came back at 99.997%--with only two (2) ballots cast being miscounted.  That is an incredible statistic.  We also discussed the soon to be announced special election that will be coming to replace now former D1 Congressman Matt Gaetz.  According to Bender and due to federal laws that dictate the number of days overseas voters must be given in advance of an election--the process to fill this seat could run into the spring of next year.

We also discussed lots of current events locally and nationally.
