Good Morning if you see this bright and early. I actually like the video of your coffees on zoom. Nice change that happened with COVID. It evolved to a more informative back and forth for the early birds, and a video for the ones who can sleep in.
ReplyDeleteI don't have an actual question.
Thank them for their press conferences and outreach and letting us know what is going on in these troubled times..
Yeah it was kind of a roller coaster day in Escambia Politics, even from the armchair.
I guess DeSantis had an earful at the press conference...
I am also celebrating in my own way Beach Acces #4 opening up..
Fond memories.. just from looking up when it was bought in 2013...
and the back and forth in 2018..
Those were good times, The video of the BOA..
The letter about the party..from the wild life letter.
The deer in the headlights look from Tim and Chips at the podium..
The TDC maybe using the 5th cent..
The best part of waking up is Folgers in your Cup.
Thank you for what you do and for this blog.
Thank you to the others that helped this happen (Beach Acces 4) ok, I know I'm off topic.
Coffee/caffiene
there, back on topic
One more thought since I was off topic anyway. About Beach Access #4 funds released and things in general with the county administration:
ReplyDeleteHaving Wes as Administrator has probably been assurance to staff that Underhill won't try to get them fired for staff carrying out the will of the board.
Also while you are at it, "those no trespassing" signs need to come down on Perdido.
It is clearly documented that the beach was restored with FEMA funds and restoration was to follow, especially because of those FOUR..count them 4 accesses. Just because the sand was put off shore doesn't negate that taxpayer funds were in fact used to restore the beach there.

I know things may seem in a panic with the COVID and transmission is severe.
But I think we will come out of it as a whole on the other side.
Some will have natural immunity, many more will get the vaccine. Some won't make it.
But this is serious and getting the hospital administrators on here is good.
As far as the ones screaming report the deaths!!! uhh.. that may cause lawsuits plus remember the post about the medical examiner etc. Panic is not always the best public safety message but perhaps the reality of the situation may change minds.
The "Freedom to Infect" crowd is not appreciated and if they don't move from denial to responsible we are in worse straits.
Everyone individually should take personal responsibility and the ones that don't may suffer the consequences..
Yes, some things are going to break down because people are not responsible for themselves.. and it affects the whole.
We are in a pandemic, it didn't go away. We simply had a short reprieve.
You have an EMS Chief who is the person leading the pre-hospital response to COVID and is the perfect person to contrast with the hospital response. Quit ignoring your service leaders.
