Political Signs.....
Once again our local cartoonist is furious mad because of my very existence. "How dare I challenge him and his editorials!" is the thought I'm sure is running through his head.
I answered his dishonest cartoon which was built on lies about the recent tragic death of a dog in 11-Mile Creek in District 1. I caught him in the lie and posted the truth and apparently Andy didn't like that..... He also didn't like my assessment of his tripe cartoon on this radio interview I did. He definitely hated what I had to say about his cartoon at our meeting--and he certainly did not like this blog post that covered that incident that came out in Rick's Blog
"He can't handle the truth!!!", Col. Jessup would scream at Andy! (if Col. Jessup was a real person....)
So----- because I push back and tell the truth instead of genuflecting to the ignorant and dishonest cartoon published about a tragic incident in my district---I get another cartoon--LOL.
Great to see I am once again renting space in Andy's tiny head. Yes, yes, we know he is mr bigshot cartoonist...yes, yes we know. I could care less.
And I can tell you from my meeting with he and his editor a few months back---he sure has a thin skin about his art being manipulated and turned back on him. He cried like a little girl to his editor..
"He's taking my cartoons and changing the words around!!!!" He squawked loudly...... He sounded like Ned Beatty's character in Deliverance, squealing like a Pig. About a decade ago he did the same thing when he had Jeremy Knipper call me to say I couldn't manipulate his cartoons...because "Andy doesn't like it!"
Too bad.
So yes, for today, he took a day off from Bashing our President, Attacking our Congressman, Assaulting the reputations of large local employers, denigrating conservative locally elected officials, and mocking Jesus and Christianity...he took a brief pause to do another cartoon of yours truly......Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Have a great weekend Andy!
I'm really renting space in his head--and dangit he doesn't like it!!

Marlette Manipulation 12.0: "I Wanted to Finish Him OFF!!"
As I have done for over a decade now, in multiple instances and on a variety of his cartoons, I have once again taken one of Andy Marlette's lame cartoons and at least made it better and more reflective of reality.
Lately it feels like a sustained attack on Christianity--between his goofy editorials where he mocks God as a chicken, to the despicable cartoons where he depicts Jesus as a criminal in one, to being arrested for illegally crossing the boarder, to the one he did where he intimates Jesus is being crucified for being homosexual. It is disgraceful and disrespectful. Of course he and the PNJ enjoy the right of free speech, to mock Christians. But why? Why mock Jesus in this disrespectful manner--In a Christian community?
As I wrote in a blog post late last week, I recently was "invited" to sit for an "interview" with the 2-person editorial board of the PNJ (+ Jim Little).
It was a joke, a total set-up, ambush job.
Funny how the invitation I got came after I submitted an op-ed with which I know PNJ disagrees, and shortly after I manipulated their last "attack-cartoon" on Jesus.
Ok, so to summarize: Based upon the attacks on conservatives and Republicans, God, and Christianity--it certainly appears as if the PNJ is deliberately trying to alienate their readers (customers).
I wonder what Gannet corporate thinks about this?

Violence in our Schools Part II: Liberal Psychosis Destroying the Public Schools before our Very Eyes..
Liberals have a way of patting themselves on the back when
they feel things are going better in the schools. In this ridiculous
piece—if a disruptive student is acting up, not following established rules
and affecting the teacher’s instruction—this is 100% the teacher’s fault and he/she
needs more training. From Salon.com
“Across the country,
educators are rethinking their approach to school discipline in response to
sky-high suspension rates that disproportionately affect black children. Some
of the more common efforts aim to change student behavior or overhaul school
protocols. A district might unilaterally ban suspensions for more subjective
transgressions or adopt restorative justice practices designed to repair
relationships when there’s been a rift. But a growing number of schools in the
Bay Area and nationally are realizing that improving discipline is just as much
about changing teacher behavior as changing student behavior.”
Meanwhile, liberals in California are busy patting
themselves on the back because they are achieving fewer expulsions, even though
student behavior, per se, has remained constant. It’s just that the discipline handed out is
much more lenient now, particularly for minority students. And this is
legislated from the state capitol.
Essentially, like they’ve done for academic rigor, they have lowered the
bar on school discipline, violence, and misbehavior so they can pat themselves
on the back and claim “success” because fewer students, particularly
minorities, are being expelled. From the
San
Jose Mercury-News
“Impetus came from the
state Legislature, which last year began limiting schools from suspending
students for defiance. Suspensions for "willful defiance" dropped
28.9 percent from 2012-13, and expulsions for the same reason dropped 47.7
percent. Previously, they accounted for
the largest number of suspensions, and were associated with a large number of
minority students' discipline.”
When Liberals (Democrat and/or Republican) squeeze this
balloon on one side, it will expand on the other—they should know this. When the politically correct educrats want a
victory and sell out teachers, the good well-behaved kids, and parents to get
it---this is not only reprehensible-it is dangerous.
They wonder why fewer and fewer students are going into the
field of education?
They wonder why some schools cannot be staffed?
It’s not a mystery.
Between careerist bureaucrats telling teachers they must endure verbal,
physical, and emotional assaults from students that are violent, disruptive,
and dangerous--- and parents and communities chastising them for being failures
at educating and disciplining students from dysfunctional households—who would
want that stress for the abysmal pay?
Teachers today have knives at their backs and knives in
their face—they get it from both directions as they receive less support than ever from both administrators and parents.
We are engaging in this very thing here in our local schools
in many instances and it is disgusting to me.
Telling the world that everything is fine in the schools when I hear
from teachers, parents, and
