I am one member of a five person board. The opinions I express on this forum are mine only, and do not necessarily reflect the views or opinions of the Escambia County Staff, Administrators, Employees, or anyone else associated with Escambia County Florida. I am interested in establishing this blog as a means of additional transparency to the public, outreach to the community, and information dissemination to all who choose to look. Feedback is welcome, but because public participation is equally encouraged, appropriate language and decorum is mandatory. Although this is not my campaign site for re-election--sometimes campaign related information will be discussed, therefore in an abundance of caution I add the following : Political Advertisement Paid for and Approved by Jeff Bergosh, Republican, for Escambia County Commissioner District 1

Wow! He’s not been fired yet? The other media haven’t canceled him yet

Nope, not yet. But if the right people complain, it might get the attention of the press who would cover it if the right people complain. But, if folks are okay with a wealthy, priviledged white man using the "N-Word" and do nothing, it will not be addressed. It will be the proverbial tree falling in the forest, making no sound. Interesting how others get cancelled and he gets a pass? It's probably because he makes money for Gannett and the PNJ with his syndication, plus he got some creds by bashing the former president, relentlessly, for 4 years straight. So they brush his use of this word under the rug. Ho Hum

You all should do a press conference calling for citizens to get vaccinated and enact a county wide mask mandate. pronto

The school board/ superintendent should call for a mask mandate.

The legislatures need to meet and enact a vaccine mandate for the public safety.
The FDA has approved the one vaccine.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – A Leon County judge ruled Friday that Gov. Ron DeSantis overstepped his authority when he signed an executive order to block school mask mandates, delivering a blow to the Republican leader as the debate over parental choice intensifies in Florida.

Time to piss or get off the pot.

enough of the facebook/cartoon drama.

Fortuantely the hurricane isn't hitting here, most likely

but we do see the news about the refrigerated Morgue truck in Baldwin County.

You all as a board asked to serve the public, so do it.

All in all most don't care about Doug drama, It's a waste of time and energy.

You have a job to do.

Don't pass the buck, and CYA.

If you think the ignorant, "I know my rights crowd" are the majority, you have that wrong.

It is your duty to protect the public health.

Let the PNJ run that story.

I don't want to see a cartoon with dead bodies stacked up behind the BOCC, do you?
