This morning live on WPNN 103.7 we were joined by Florida CFO Jimmy Patronis. He is running for the D1 Congressional seat in the special election to replace Matt Gaetz who has resigned.
It is a crowded field, and Patronis is the odds on favorite--given his substantial PAC of $6 Million Dollars, his name recognition, and the full-throated endorsement of his campaign by President-elect Donald Trump.
We talked about the campaign, why he is running, and what his top three priorities would be in DC if he is elected. He also gave some very insightful thoughts on the war in Ukraine and our spending of billions of dollars on it, the state of Social Security, term limits, and federal spending. We even talked about the drone mystery and he had an interesting take on that.
Other topics covered today on the show included: Social Security full retirement age going up in 2025, The Escambia County School Board books litigation, the suspect captured overnight in the assassination of the Russian General in Moscow, Donald Trump going after the lying, left-wing media, and the expected 25 basis point interest rate cut expected today from the Federal Reserve.
Check out the recording of the interview here--if you missed it live.
