This morning on the Wake up Call on WPNN 103.7-we had in the studio special guests Travis and Jessie Huisken. Their young daughter Phinney passed away just short of five years old from an aggressive form of cancer. They shared their story of grief and turning tragedy into action to help bring attention to this disease and the woefully small percentage of research dollars that are currently spent on pediatric cancer. The Huiskens also discussed some upcoming fundraisers that will directly benefit childhood cancer research. It was a really moving interview that you will want to hear!
