Honky Tonk Friday on the Wake Up Call--With Songs as Requested

Aaron Lewis was one of the artists who's music was sent in this morning for the show by listeners.  I had the opportunity to meet and play a round of golf with him in November of 2021 in Orlando at the Rosen Shingle Creek.  A really great guy, and one hell of a golfer!

Today on the wake-up call live on WPNN 103.7 ---we had Honky Tonk, Country Western Friday.  We played a lot of fresh tracks based upon listener requests.  We had one special request to play Aaron Lewis’ “Am I the Only One”  which we played twice.  Which prompted me to tell the story of when Aaron Lewis and I played a round of golf together in Orlando before his “Welcome to Rockville” performance with Staind (Nov. 2021).  Then we went through a host of local, national and international stories of interest- discussing multiple issues from around the country that traditional media outlets just won’t cover---because we will always cover interesting, important stories that are not politically correct and won’t otherwise be reported.  That’s what we do on the Wake Up Call!  😊
