He and I discussed Florida’s Amendment 3—which will raise the homestead exemption to $150,000 in 2027 and up to $250,000 in 2028. If enacted by the voters, these amendments would ultimately cost the city of Pensacola about $8Million yearly in their general fund, and would cost the county roughly $66 Million from their general fund.
