Today on the wake-up call live on WPNN 103.7,we spoke with film producer and director Aaron Burns about his upcoming major motion picture Biopic “Jimmy” about the life and struggles of beloved American actor Jimmy Stewart. The film focuses on the time period between 1939 and Stewart’s Academy Award winning performance in “The Philadelphia Story” and 1946 and the making of and release of “It’s a wonderful Life”—after Stewart’s return from his tours of duty as a combat bomber pilot completing 20 missions over Germany in World War II. The film is about his struggles after the war and his eventual journey to healing. After Burns’ interview, I discussed local, national, statewide, and international stories of great interest.
