Wake Up Call for Monday: Escambia County Sheriff Chip Simmons

Today on the wake-up call live on WPNN 103.7 we welcomed to the show Escambia County Sheriff Chip Simmons.  He joins us weekly on Mondays, and today we discussed multiple issues with him to include last week’s huge response to what was believed to be an active shooter event at Corry Station.  Thankfully, that turned out to be a false alarm.  We also discussed with the sheriff several other high-profile arrests and a high speed chase that ended with a PIT maneuver by deputies.

In addition to this, we discussed:

-local news—VT MAE moving Mobile Alabama contingent over to Pensacola, 22-year old killed in Pace by a drunk driver, Florida Senators Scott and Moody want year round daylight savings time, and term limits for County Commissioners are being discussed today in Tallahassee.

-Mark Carnley will be the next Canadian Prime Minister

-Jack Texiera sentenced to 15 years for stealing government secrets

-Health and Human Services staff facing reductions

-Carmax customer drives through a building on a rampage

-Russian Special Forces spend two days marching through a gas pipe to surprise attack Ukrainians in Kursk

--and much more

You can hear a complete recording of today’s live show here.

We are live each weekday morning from 6:00AM-8:00AM on WPNN-Pensacola's Information Station, where local, conservative morning-drive talk radio is ALIVE and Well and where we give you the most powerful hour(s) in local morning drive talk radio.
