Saturday was a huge day for Escambia County and the city of Pensacola.
An historic agreement was inked between the city and ST Engineering Aerospace that will positively impact our community for decades to come.
Escambia County, Pensacola, and ST Engineering agreed to a $210 Million dollar deal to massively expand the Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) footprint in our area.
Once completed, this will represent the largest footprint in North America for the World's #1MRO provider.
Locally, it will mean an additional 1,400 good-paying jobs at our airport--which will translate into 5,000 direct and indirect jobs of our area.

This is a huge deal that was finalized this Saturday via a signing ceremony in Singapore.
Present for the ceremony were Pensacola Mayor Ashton Hayward, Escambia County Commission Chairman Jeff Bergosh, and Florida West Executive Director Scott Luth---as well as every executive from ST Engineering's Far-East Headquarters.
Saturday was historic---and the Pensacola area and Escambia County will benefit from this deal for decades to come!
Once this project is fully completed, Escambia County will be home to TWO (2) Worldwide # 1 entities:
#1 Credit Union Worldwide Navy Federal Credit Union
# 1 Airframe MRO, ST Engineering Aerospace.

This is a huge win for our community--many thanks go out to Pensacola Mayor Ashton Hayward and Florida West for bringing this deal "in for a landing."

That lady from JUECW, J'Aime Rogers hates you. There was some posting of a Derrick Collosun on JUECW and it was taken out of context. Someone on her and DU's site offered to post the whole conversation to give context and J'Aimen said she did not give her permission to publish the conversation. She was satisfied with half truths. Strange. It seems J'Aime becomes meaner Sunday afternoons. I wonder if she goes to church with that guy who disrupts meetings, what's his name? Suhor, I think. I think she must as uncharitably as she treats you. I saw a post where she admitted you really helped kids who were bullied in school, but she said she'd only give you little credit as she was in a good mood. Her heart is black. Black as midnight, black as pitch. Beware of her.
Anonymous 10:09--Yes I have noticed that as well; half-truths, distorted information, and outright lies are tolerated and encouraged. Case in point, a recent exchange between me and another facebook user on another site was posted on this site--but only select portions. The pretext to the exchange was deliberately withheld because it validated my strong comments and condemnation of that person who posted straight-up lies about me. If I show you a video of an "assault", but I crop the first part off that shows someone hitting an unsuspecting victim in the head from behind to initiate the altercation and instead only show the portion where the victim goes on offense and knocks out the perpetrator--I can say look--that guy just knocked out that other guy--what a monster!(and without the pretext, it becomes easy to sell that rubbish) It's throwing rocks and hiding the hand. It's petty, juvenile, and makes that site non-credible. 100% non-credible. That's the kind of garbage that happens on that site. You are dead-on accurate about that person. Black heart, pitch black, void of integrity and honesty, and not-credible.
Great work, Now to get the OLF swap complete and leave the name OLF behind. It needs a new branding and marketing to get the word out. This deal is part of the initiative that will drive this economic potential for the rest of the panhandle.
The derisive term spouted like Cronley Park, and the Bermuda Triangle need to be counteracted. If some of the residents in the area are fighting against this they should realize that this has been in the works for decades and it is coming.
Civic Con speaks of the need for branding.

I am sure the experts at FloridaWest are giving it some thought.
Hurricane Michael was devastating to our neighbors, their Triumph Inc projects may be on hold or revised. Some of the initiatives of this area may qualify for a higher priority.
Some of the businesses from that area may wish to relocate here.
