Wake Up Call for Monday: Sheriff Chip Simmons

Today on the wake-up call live on WPNN 103.7 we welcomed to the show Escambia County Sheriff Chip Simmons.  We discussed the weekend’s Mardi Gras parades that went off largely problem free, we discussed the ongoing issues with mental illness in the community and offenders that are deemed incompetent to stand trial.  We also discussed his office’s upcoming career fair and also the progress his latest blazer academy students are making in their respective classes.

In addition to this, we discussed:

-local news—Escambia School teachers want written guidance on how to interact with ICE agents should they come to school campuses, additional charges for the man arrested for hit and run in Century, injuring 5, S.S. United States being towed into Mobile Bay at 12:00 Noon today

-Zelinski’s White House blowup fallout

-What Ukrainians thought of the blowup in the white house

-Aid to Gaza cut off again—why that led to Netanyahu being indicted by the ICC for war crime

-Justin Trudeau on his upcoming visit with King Charles of England

-Tariffs hitting Canada and Mexico tomorrow, March 4th

--and much more
