Today on the wake-up call live on WPNN 103.7 we welcomed to the show veteran radio host and current weekend WPNN host Mike Bates. Mike is responsible for the “Mike Bates Show” which airs each Saturday morning on WPNN from 7:00AM-8:00AM. Mike joined us on the show today to discuss his day yesterday in Mobile, Alabama. Mike was in Mobile, AL yesterday to watch the SS United States be towed into Mobile Harbor for necessary repairs prior to this ship be scuttled off of the coast of Destin in Okaloosa County. Mike discussed his thoughts on this, the depth it should be sunk, and his experience diving wrecks all over the world.
In addition to this, we discussed:
-local news—Bay Center upgrades and expansion may be coming,
a 282 luxury dwellings coming to downtown Pensacola at the old ECUA water
treatment facility property, SS United States makes it to Mobile, Felix’s
Restaurant in Pensacola Beach closed permanently Monday, and massive, recurring
sewage leaks into the bay off of Scenic Hwy.
-Worldwide obesity rates are skyrocketing
-Trump pauses Ukraine Military Aid
-South Sudan child rape
crisis
-Multiple Canadian politicians on how they will respond to
Trump tariffs
-Stephen Miller on how mass
migration to America has permanently changed America’s workforce in many
occupations—displacing natural born citizens
