Tuesday on the Wake Up Call: Gubernatorial Candidate Charles Burkett Joins Us for a Discussion of His Campaign for Governor

 


Today on the wake-up call live on WPNN 103.7 -we welcomed to the program Charles Burkett, former 4-term Mayor of Surfside, Florida.  Mayor Burkett is running for Governor in the crowded field of 48 candidates who are signed up so for to run.  Burkett was the mayor of the town where the Champlain Tower collapsed, resulting in the deaths of 98 residents.  Burkett has a fierce independent streak, and we discussed his platform, why he is running and his thoughts on the economy, affordability, property insurance, education, and multiple other topics of interest.  After Burkett’s interview-we discussed hard hitting local, national and international stories of interest- covering multiple topics from around the country that traditional media outlets just won’t cover—in ways and at a depth they never will show you.
