I had the opportunity to taste this coffee, produced by local firm De Luna Coffee company, and I must say it was delicious. I left the event with a bag of it and a mug and this will be my morning coffee for the next several weeks!
The event was well attended also featured special guest Ashley Moody, Florida's Attorney General, who had been in town earlier in the day with the grim news that our area leads the state, per capita, in opioid overdose deaths. State Representative Michelle Salzman was also on hand for the event.
Good coffee and good company benefitting a good cause!

It will be a much happier day if and when our local leadership doesn't have to deal with the likes of her.
I hope rumors become true and General Moody runs for Florida Governor in 2026.
4:07 I agree! I think she (AG Ashley Moody) is a rock star and a breath of fresh air! But that election will be a crowded field. My prediction: Francis Suarez (Running for PRESIDENT currently) will finish dismally far back in the pack in the primary for that office----- but will nevertheless gain a lot of name recognition from the Presidential race which he will utilize to win the office he is, in reality, currently, really seeking and running for: Governor of Florida once DeSantis finishes up and terms out in 2026. My prediction only and a lot can happen between now and then.....Lots of others will roll off the bench and run for that office. lots of them.
She's certainly a breath of fresh air if you enjoy having a state's rule of law shattered to smithereens.
Oh look!
There's our gal, bravely defending fascist autocracy while trembling with the seriousness of the moment.
Faces of great evil is what they are.
