Friday on the Wake Up Call: Honky Tonk Country Western Music--plus Local, National, and International News and a Visit with James Thomasson

Today on the wake-up call live on WPNN 103.7 we had Honky Tonk Friday and played a LOT of Country and Western music between the segments.  We also welcomed to the show James Thomasson—owner of Accelerated Accounting and also host of Business Today on WPNN every Sunday at 1:00 PM.  We talked about tax time being pushed back this year, the implications to taxpayers if congress does NOT make the Trump tax cuts permanent, the Fair Tax, the Flat Tax, and other topics of interest given the season we are in.  In addition to this--we did a full local, national, and international news roundup and had a great time doing it!

Today on the wake-up call live on WPNN 103.7 we welcomed to the studio Shelby Johnson.  He is one of the sponsors and organizers of the upcoming Burger Battle by the Bay—a yearly fundraiser that raises money for Take Stock in Children locally in the schools.  In addition to speaking with Shelby about this fundraiser, we did a full local, national, and international news roundup and had a great time doing it!

DeSantis’ visit to Pensacola yesterday, the UWF Trustee confirmation hearings, DeSantis’ war on Michelle Salzman and Alex Andrade, the Red Light Cameras in the city of Pensacola, and the projections of declining enrollments in our Escambia County public Schools.

Today on the wake-up call live on WPNN 103.7 we did a full episode of national, international, and local news.  Lots of great information and we previewed tomorrow’s second Honkey Tonk Country Western Friday on the Wake up Call.  I also had someone text me an interesting picture from the Visitor’s Center at NAS Pensacola which we will discuss tomorrow.  Someone has taken out the Donald Trump picture in the space reserved for the Presidential Picture and placed a stretched out version of the symbol of the president in it’s place.  Kind of strange…….
