I am one member of a five person board. The opinions I express on this forum are mine only, and do not necessarily reflect the views or opinions of the Escambia County Staff, Administrators, Employees, or anyone else associated with Escambia County Florida. I am interested in establishing this blog as a means of additional transparency to the public, outreach to the community, and information dissemination to all who choose to look. Feedback is welcome, but because public participation is equally encouraged, appropriate language and decorum is mandatory. Although this is not my campaign site for re-election--sometimes campaign related information will be discussed, therefore in an abundance of caution I add the following :

87th Coffee with the Commissioner this Wednesday at 6:30AM

We will have our 87th Coffee with the Commissioner event online this Wednesday morning at 6:30!

Join us at our virtual 87th Coffee with the Commissioner event Wednesday, Sept. 13. The live stream will take place from 6:30-7:30 a.m. To join the meeting, visit our Facebook site here: www.facebook.com/CommissionerBergosh/. 

This month's Coffee with the Commissioner will feature County Administrator Wes Moreno and Public Safety Director Eric Gilmore. Moreno will provide an update on county business and Gilmore will discuss public safety matters. Joy Blackmon, P.E., Director of Engineering and County Engineer, and Chris Phillips, Deputy Director of Engineering and Transportation Engineer, will join as this month's special guests for a discussion on infrastructure projects in District 1, focusing on sidewalks, roads, bridges, stormwater drainage and the Perdido Key roundabout.
