Tuesday on the Wake Up Call: A Conversation with Escambia District 1 School Board Member Kevin Adams

 

Today on the wake-up call live on WPNN 103.7 ---we spoke with Escambia County School Board Member Kevin Adams.  We talked about the recent tax increase the board voted to make (over his NO vote) as well as the first day of school yesterday, the new no cell phone policy for students, and other issues of interest to public school parents.  We also talked about multiple issues from around the country that traditional media outlets just won’t cover---because we will always cover interesting, important stories that are not politically correct and won’t otherwise be reported.  That’s what we do on the Wake Up Call!  😊

The Wake Up Call for Tuesday: Escambia County School Board Member Kevin Adams on the School Library Books Issue

Today on the wake-up call live on WPNN 103.7 –we interviewed District 1 School Board member Kevin Adams.  The Escambia County School Board will be having their once monthly regular meeting tonight and we discussed the ongoing topic of library books that are not age appropriate in schools.  Adams has a commonsense solution that we discussed live on the air which he will present to his peers on the board at tonight's regular school board meeting.  We also discussed, school discipline, cell phone use by students, and student achievement locally.  In addition to this, we did a complete local, national, and international roundup on today’s show.
