I am one member of a five person board. The opinions I express on this forum are mine only, and do not necessarily reflect the views or opinions of the Escambia County Staff, Administrators, Employees, or anyone else associated with Escambia County Florida. I am interested in establishing this blog as a means of additional transparency to the public, outreach to the community, and information dissemination to all who choose to look. Feedback is welcome, but because public participation is equally encouraged, appropriate language and decorum is mandatory. Although this is not my campaign site for re-election--sometimes campaign related information will be discussed, therefore in an abundance of caution I add the following :

39th Coffee With the Commissioner This Wednesday Morning
The 39th Coffee with the Commissioner will take place from 6:30 - 7:30 a.m. this Wednesday online via a "Facebook livestream" which will be conducted on the Zoom platform.
Guests will include Escambia County Administrator Janice Gilley, Escambia County Emergency Manager Eric Gilmore, Escambia Destination Marketing Organization Executive Director Rusty Branch (discussing the coronavirus' impact on hotels and tourism locally) and Escambia County District 1 "Pop-up" Drive-In owner and creator Michael Silver (who will be giving an update on the Pop-Up Drive-In he has established last week at District 1's Pensacola Interstate Fairgrounds' location)
To join, simply go to the following Facebook page at 6:30 a.m. on May 6th and watch the live stream: https://www.facebook.com/CommissionerBergosh/. Residents are encouraged to send virtual questions and comments they would like to discuss with their District 1 Commissioner and his guests during the event through Facebook.
