Discipline Delivered Part I: Scathing, Scorching Narrative Accompanies Union President's Discipline Document

WOW!  This narrative is scathing, cutting, and scorching.  It is really quite unbelieveable.  It's also a public record.  And it probably would have remained in a file somewhere, never seeing the light of day.

But now, because a South Florida lawyer has made an extensive records request of me, obviously on behalf of a local union official, this public record is coming out.  And there are more coming.

This record is about discipline for conduct that is extremely concerning.  The conduct at issue got my attention when I heard about it.  But more importantly--it resulted in other county employees speaking out-demanding an investigation!  see below:

And after EMS complained, and others, an investigation was conducted.  Here is an excerpt, below, from the discipline that was administered as a result of the investigation request(s).  (Note:  so far as I have been told, these allegations and these discipline recommendations listed below have been appealed by this particular employee.  Nevertheless--this is a public record.)  And these folks want the public records so here, below, is part 1.  And it is a scorcher, the read of the narrative.  Ouch!  (As I pointed out to a recent poster on a different blog post--chat sites, facebook, blogs, and other social media critiques are one thing--but this discipline narrative is real world, written by an employee's supervisor!  Wow!)

Very disgusting indeed, Especially for a Fire Officer. Well at least we know why the big interest in a Public Records Request. Blame shift, and accept no responsibility.

At least he is not a snitch! He’s a thug’s role model! Promote him to fire chief! Union President, not very presidential.

Jeff Bergosh Blog is exactly like the left leaning media. Twisting, contorting, and denying facts so that his post comes off only in a way to support his narrative. If anyone believes anything that comes out of Jeff Bergosh’s mouth, or on this website without fact checking it themselves, they are ignorant as can be. Everything that was posted on the union’s post that day is a fact, and this commissioner is full of crap.

The county should have employees sign an agreement that they will NOT participate in politics and public postings and if they do NOT abide by that -- end their employment.

Really, the commissioners should not be publicly posting about employees, I would think. Two wrongs don't make a right. Isn't this exempt information?

I have been observing the county government for a short period of time and that is what has led to some of the problems in public safety, imo. Gossip and Politics.

Ask the medical director has that is going. Her legal entanglement with a person who thrives on conflict and publicly embarrassing people has not only been expensive but I imagine has taken a toll emotionally. She was obviously urged to sue by Underhill and the operatives of ECW. Being ordered to pay the bond amount may not seem fair, as the address listing was posted publicly by a cohort of the defendant and the property page was published by a major political donor, non the less it is a court order. Even though was a public real estate listing, it was NOT in fact published by Pino. Judge Burns didn't come off very competent either.

See - the public has the ability to follow these things.

One of these employees mentioned in this blog, Hunsucker, was involved with other public record requests with Pino and Underhill with a childish penciled in public record request. Don Givacrap is also a pseudonym for an employee posting on social media.

The sunshine law is being used as a weapon and not just by one side or the other. Lawfare is expensive and detrimental to good governance.

This is just a continuation of that behavior, interesting yes -- good for business-- no.

Stop the Sunburn. This may be simply another political ploy. Are they using union dues for political purposes against you?

The have an avenue for bargaining and they need to adhere to those time frames, not in the public political arena.

Too late now though....

The saga continues...
