I am one member of a five person board. The opinions I express on this forum are mine only, and do not necessarily reflect the views or opinions of the Escambia County Staff, Administrators, Employees, or anyone else associated with Escambia County Florida. I am interested in establishing this blog as a means of additional transparency to the public, outreach to the community, and information dissemination to all who choose to look. Feedback is welcome, but because public participation is equally encouraged, appropriate language and decorum is mandatory. Although this is not my campaign site for re-election--sometimes campaign related information will be discussed, therefore in an abundance of caution I add the following : Political Advertisement Paid for and Approved by Jeff Bergosh, Republican, for Escambia County Commissioner District 1

On WCOA's Real News with Rick Outzen Yesterday Morning--Discussing Racist, N-Word using Andy Marlette among other Topics....

In 2021 in America--How is  wealthy, white, and privileged Andy Marlette able to use the disgusting racial slur the "N-Word" in his cartoons--how is that acceptable?

..........And the reason I was asked to be on the show was to discuss Monday's hatchet piece in the PNJ that was a complete character assassination attempt on me--followed up by a ridiculous, dishonest smear-job cartoon on Wednesday in the PNJ.  At one point, Rick even asked an open question of me--signalling he had never witnessed in 20 years covering local politics such a concerted attempt at discrediting a public official by multiple sources--including internal staffers in the county.  It was a surprising, thought-provoking question which I answered with specific reasons/explanations.

The conversation was a good one  lots of topics--to include the former HR director's weak, feeble, and unsuccessful attempt at "blaming" me for her (and others) ineptitude in handling the Matt Selover case which led to a $200,000 settlement by the insurance company representing the BCC.

Interesting conversation and back and forth between Outzen and I.

I know you say stay on topic, so this comment is somewhat related. Its about the 401a

I'm glad you have the video and also these things posted because in time, I look over things.

I did watch the video segment about the 401a. Aggravating because I do not see a problem with the rate of return. The same amount goes into the FRS.

Underhill's political rhetoric on farcebook today of this is unethical and immoral, so are his words in the meeting.

He acts like he isn't taking retirement when he is, He states he doesn't take discretionary when he does.

As far as Pam..I guess you are going to court so it's moot but I can't stand Underhill and his pied piper bullshit. Pam is not very impressive either. If she doesn't have authority to stop Morgan from getting a bronze statue, how does she have authority over a board? They are just causing trouble for nothing.

Really though, this takes up a lot of time, which I have...

The county need to be spending time on the pandemic.

I have some understanding about that, for now..because I've been watching people and listening and reading.

Why aren't you wearing masks in chambers?

You know getting vaccinated does not stop the transmission, right?

The Chairman should not give Pam Childers the floor speaking out of order to items not on the agenda.

Underhill blew so hard my head hurts. He is a liar and a hypocrite.

Doug should know that we know he would have taken the 401a if he had noticed it, both terms.
He should be aware people see right through him and talk about him. We know.

He can spout and blow for 15 minutes, act a jerk toward Steven, saying he won't talk to him, get on social medial and call his attorney and other board members criminals but basically;

It's obvious he is just acting. He probably practiced that act in the mirror prior to the meeting but we know he is really a miserable failure. His toxicity is a stain on Escambia Board of County Commissioners. His tries to portray a particular public persona irritates and really falls flat yet what lurks beneath the surface is what really shows. He is just a little man who projects his flaccid ineptitude onto all he touches.

He should commission a bronze horses ass for his keepsake likeness just like his Minime mentor Moron.

Can the cartoonist artfully capture the reality of what is happening in front of all our eyes...Don't hold your breath.

It does my heart good to see Pino is back at posting anonymously or with a false identification again. She said she took a few days off few days off to go out of town (o.k.) and by her appearance during one of her segments on Thursdays meeting it looked like she needed some sleep. Nothing much had been posted on her personal FB space for a week then bam. And just like those numerous comments appear on these blogs mostly attacking Underhill or Jackie. Can you make those connections? We saw what you did here Melissa.

Go, go, go Godzilla junior.

It seems Doug lied on record in the meeting about signing the retirement option form. He said he didn't sign it yet Pino has posted the signed form on her f/b page,

I know he is lying cause his lips are moving. She takes the effort to prove it and publicly display it.

I'm also enjoying seeing some of the other public records being posted.

To concerned citizen,

I'm not sure about a few of these comments, but most of them are not Pino nor Bergosh, as it has been noted, Underhill and Rogers and Edler collected facebook screenshots and put a citizen through the ringer and huge expense because they disagreed with them by filing a lawsuit

This blog allows a forum that hopefully they can't get to.

But what one can do is weigh the comments and the truth behind them without the option of going ad hominen, and the other nasty things people do.
