I am interested in establishing this blog as a means of additional transparency to the public, outreach to the community, and information dissemination to all who choose to look. Feedback is welcome, but because public participation is equally encouraged, appropriate language and decorum is mandatory. Although this is not my campaign site for re-election--sometimes campaign related information will be discussed, therefore in an abundance of caution I add the following : Political Advertisement Paid for and Approved by Jeff Bergosh, Republican, for Escambia County Commissioner District 1

"D1-South" Essentially you're admitting that Perdido, Innerarity, and parts south have ZERO in common with Beulah and the north end, have very different concerns, and SHOULD NOT be represented by the same commissioner. Thanks for shoving this nightmare through.

It’s a geographic descriptor— nothing more nothing less. I’m glad D1 is back together post-redistricting but obviously you’re not. But that’s okay.

Well watching this live was a bust.

I tried to watch the livestream and it was impossible. I'm anxious to hear what all was discussed.

Unfortunately there were some technical glitches with the livestreaming of this event, which is regrettable because we had some great dialogue and there were lots of topics covered. However, there was a recording made of the entire event and that will be posted later this morning on the county's web page. To all who attended live--thanks for coming and for all the great questions/comments. It was a packed house but we still managed to get through all the questions and wrap it up just after 7:30.
